Forests are converted to grazing and farm lands which gives rise to a significant amount of pollution in the groundwater and rivers from animal waste. If everyone becomes a vegan, many people would benefit from the resources and lands that would have been used by these farms.

Vegan food items such as fruits, olive oil, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains are very rich with fiber and many nutrients and contain low amounts of fat. Plant-based foods are the best sources for protein, specifically from soya, peanuts, and beans.
